The story
WorkOS gave init() 2026 attendees (SF Tech Week, October 2026) a working badge: an M5Stack StopWatch with a round AMOLED screen, set into a black card covered in a code-symbol pattern and the init() wordmark. It shows your name and event info and can be reprogrammed; WorkOS's Michael Chan (@chantastic) demoed it live on stage. People wore them around SF Tech Week all week.
What stands out
A round screen in a printed card looks like jewellery and acts like a dev board. That mix of beauty and hackability is why people kept wearing it after the event.
