A reference is a starting point

The useful part is knowing what you like about it.

Save the detail, not just the object. A shape, a phrase, the feel of a material. Add a reason to each reference before sharing it. Write the context. Who is it for? When does it arrive? How many people, what budget, which countries? These answers give a maker something concrete to work with. Hold a sample. A render helps you choose a direction. A sample lets you check the object. Review the materials, finish, fit and packaging before committing to production.
